Pickleball is quickly becomming a popular sport among the senior population and has over 200,000 players in the United States alone.  Played with a wooden paddle and a baseball size whiffle ball, Pickleball is a combination of Ping Pong, Tennis and Badminton, yet played on a much smaller court. In fact, you can place 4 Pickleball courts inside one single tennis court.

Hollywood resident Mitchell Ball, Ambassador of USA Pickleball Association of South Florida, has a goal to bring Pickleball to every town in Dade and Broward County.

Join him for a free Pickleball demonstration and clinic in Hollywood at the Stan Goldman Memorial Park at 800 Knights Road on Sunday, August 11, 2013, from 6pm to 8:30pm. The clinic will feature two courts at the Hockey Rink.
