City of Hollywood gives raise to CRA Executive Director and City Attorney

City of Hollywood attorney Jeff Sheffel will be getting a pay increase. His salary will increase from $173,160 to $188,000. And Hollywood Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) Executive Director Jorge Camejo will see a salary increase from $136,240 to $144,523.

The raises were approved during a recent meeting by the Hollywood Commission after some discussion.

There was concern that two individuals were getting pay increases while most other city employees were still dealing with the after effects of pay reductions when the City declared financial urgency in 2011.

“I feel both of them are doing a good job, but the salaries of our employees as a whole have not been brought up to standard,” said Commissioner Traci Callari.
