The 9th Annual Christmas Near The Beach is set for Dec. 12, 2015 at the Arts Park at Young Circle in Hollywood, FL.

The free family-friendy holiday event draws thousands and this year St. Nick will be arriving in style on a classic car led by the Florida Sunshine Marching band.

“I look forward to this event every year,” said Pembroke Pines resident Christine McClain. “Our entire family has made this our Christmas tradition.”

All families are offered a free photo with the jolly ole guy on his sleigh and a walk through his “beach house.”

This year’s lineup includes bands, choirs, mime, drama, Christmas ballet, Grinchy on skates, and a one time rehearsal for NEXT year’s attempt at a Guinness Book of World record for most people caroling.

DJ Mr. E keeps the crowd energized throughout the show.  Bands include, Sensere, Josh Bramos, The Anchor collective and Lighthouse Creative. Children will also be entertained with a kids zone, sports zone as well as a puppet show.

“The entire South Florida community will feel at home in Hollywood, explained Deena McDaniel, CNTB director/producer. ” Our city brings the charm of the season where our party is your party, because it’s like you’re joining me in my living room, with my closest 6,000 friends.”

This year CTNB is also hosting a community food drive in collaboration with Open Heart Food Pantry.  For every three cans donated, guests receive a free raffle ticket.   The Open Heart Food Pantry serves 60 to 120 families each week year-round supplying food for families, plus helping stock four different locations.

Christmas Near The Beach offers a free raffle ticket to those who visit St. Nick at his Beach house and one family will walk away with St. Nick’s personal Christmas tree!  Visit the website for the full contest prize list, which totals over $2000.

The stage is set for another Christmas celebration where memories will be made for a lifetime.

Christmas Near The Beach is a project of Expressions of Joy a 501-C3 Not-for-Profit.  CNTB partners include The GoodNews FL, So Danca, Michael Puchades Law, Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, Florida House Experience, Palm Vista Community Church, Playful Pixals, Moody Radio and the Arts Park at Young Circle.
