The Diplomat Resort & Spa Hollywood, Curio – a Collection by Hilton is pleased to welcome Michael Savitt as general manager of its award-winning steakhouse, Diplomat Prime.
Savitt brings more than 20 years of management, sales and hospitality experience to Diplomat Prime. Most recently, he served as general manager of Yolo Restaurant and O Lounge in Fort Lauderdale, where he oversaw all operations and vendor relations for both restaurants simultaneously. During his tenure, he successfully executed a $1 million renovation of the property and continuously exceeded monthly sales goals.
Prior to this role, Savitt acted as general manager of Toro Toro Restaurant at the Intercontinental Hotel Miami, where he spearheaded the opening of the high profile, chef driven concept, leading all aspects of hiring, training and menu development.

Savitt holds a degree in hospitality management from Florida International University. He is a proud member of several local community groups and non-profit organizations, including the Broward County Humane Society, Broward Partnership for the Homeless, Kids in Distress, Joe DiMaggio’s Children’s Hospital and RiverWalk Trust.
