Fire station 45, at 2741 Stirling Road, is planned to be demolished and replaced in the near future.

During a recent meeting, the Hollywood Commission agreed to a $3,076, 695 contract with West Construction based in Lake Worth for the construction of a new Station 45.

The new fire house is planned because the Fire Station 45 is outdated, and would have required extensive renovations to remain in use. It was determined that the best approach would be to build a new fire station.

Demolition of the existing Fire Station 45 is expected to be complete by the end of November. Construction of the new station is expected to be complete by the end of October 2017. Construction documents are in permitting and contract books have been sent to the contractor for signatures and bonds.
