Broward Education Foundation offers grants for innovative educators

Educators and school administrators: have you ever thought you could improve your schools curriculum? Now’s your chance to prove it. Broward Education Foundation’s (BEF) Teacher Grant Fund is ready to hear your idea.

The purpose of the Teacher Grant Fund is to reward teachers and administrators by funding original and innovate projects. The BEF is offering funding, typically $600 to $1,200 per grant, for original project ideas.

Projects which enhance students’ learning experience are what they’re looking for, specifically in the areas of STEM, Pre-K to grade 3 literacy, arts education and healthy nutritional choices. All an interested educator would need to do is write a brief proposal and submit it to the Broward Education Foundation’s website.

Grants are allocated by a committee comprised of business/community leaders and educators on a competitive basis.
