Camps at South Broward High School offer sports or STEM for all ages

With summer here, kids need a place to go and exert some energy. The Bulldog Sports Camp at South Broward High School offers a fun and safe place for children to be and it is fully run by Broward Public Schools teachers.

Campers play basketball, baseball, soccer, football and other sports. They also learn to swim, and those who know how to swim improve their skills in the school’s Olympic size pool.

“It is very important that children know how to swim in South Florida,” said Ashley Lehman, a teacher and a leader at Camp Bulldog. “We offer a wide variety of sports here and it is very safe environment.”

Those with an interest in computers can participate in STEM camp. Darin Koch shows the campers about robotics and coding and how to develop computer games. “The kids like to play games and we combine learning and fun,” Koch said.
