Free Valentine’s Day Mass Marriage Ceremony Open to Broward Couples

Couples are invited to tie the knot or renew their vows on the day of romance in Broward County’s second annual Valentine’s Day Mass Marriage ceremony.

“Anyone can participate as long as they have applied for their marriage license and paid the fee and they want to marry on that day,” said Brenda D. Forman, Broward County Clerk of Courts, who will officiate at the ceremony.  Deadline for registration is February 8th. The mass marriage ceremony will take place on Thursday, February 14, 2019.

Last year’s ceremony was a huge success with Clerk Forman marrying more than 55 couples, and this year she is looking forward to making this mass marriage ceremony another memorable celebration.

The event will consist of a single ceremony that will unite couples in attendance and will be officiated by Clerk Forman. Couples may also renew their vows at this time.

Couples and their guests will celebrate with cake and refreshments, and they will also receive a special Certificate of Marriage commemorating their special day. The certificates will be presented during the ceremony.

In order to be eligible for the event, an application for the marriage license must be made between now and February 8, 2019.

Applications can be submitted at any of the four Broward County courthouses. The standard license and renewal fees still apply.

The Mass Ceremony will take place in the jury room at the Broward Judicial Complex, 201 SE 6th St., Room 03320, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301. For more information contact: 954-831-7283 or visit: www.browardclerk.org
