Chef Daniel Siegelman officially joins the team at The Diplomat Beach Resort’s coastal American restaurant

Famed Iron Chef and Food Network Chopped star, Chef Geoffrey Zakarian, is pleased to announce Point Royal’s new Chef de Cuisine, Daniel Siegelman, in addition to the new The Royal Brunch at his famed South Florida restaurant located at The Diplomat Beach Resort in Hollywood, FL.

“After months of careful selection and tastings, I’m thrilled to finally provide guests with a lavish, yet approachable brunch experience designed to please the most varied of palates,” says Zakarian. “We are so excited to have chef Daniel on board.  Working alongside Zakarian, Daniel will produce a fresh, modern take on South Florida dining, showcasing locally sourced produce to present the best of what the region has to offer. Prior to joining Point Royal, Daniel worked with a variety of the nation’s top chefs and restaurateurs including Angela Hartnett’s Cielo at the Boca Raton Hotel, Michael Chiarello’s Bottega in California, Michael Mina’s MM74 at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach and Stephen Starr’s and Chef Justin Smillie’s Upland in Miami Beach.

Point Royal is a chic restaurant and bar with an accessible, modern take seaside dining, featuring the full gamut of Zakarian’s coastal American cuisine. Available every Sunday, The Royal Brunch highlights everything from traditional daytime fare to an over-the-top boozy bar cart, where visitors and locals spanning from Miami to West Palm Beach can now indulge in a new weekend dining destination.

The menu showcases endless seasonal stations including a butcher’s table with a wide variety of carved, high-end meats and cheeses, housemade pastries and breads, specialty egg dishes, hashes, salads, and savory options like fried chicken, shrimp and grits, and mac and cheese. For refreshments, guests can enjoy unlimited tableside bar service with a charming bloody mary cart outfitted with a variety of unique toppings and sauces one would need to create an over-the-top cocktail. Unlimited mimosas and unique, fresh juice based cocktails are also available.

The indoor-outdoor venue also features an extensive wine list with selections from Italy, France, California and beyond. Point Royal delivers a lively bustling environment and in addition to brunch, is open for breakfast and lunch daily and serves dinner Friday to Tuesday. Complimentary parking is offered for guests who dine at Point Royal.
