Cheerleading is a popular sport in Hollywood. During the fall, football cheerleaders cheer on their team, perform dance routines and perform stunts.

The dances and the stunts require athleticism and intense training. The cheerleaders also do chants.

The McArthur Cheerleading team is large and has many enthusiastic girls. They also have new uniforms.

“We are dedicated to cheerleading and we love to promote school spirit,” said Jaylinn Day, a captain of the team.

“I love being on the team and I love encouraging school spirit,” Ladaysha Creighton, a leader on the McArthur cheerleading team, said. “Being a cheerleader is a lot of fun.”
