Hollywood’s Diamonds in the Rough to Host 22nd Annual Charity Golf Tournament Supporting Hollywood Youth

Hollywood’s Diamonds in the Rough, Inc., a 501c3 non-profit charity dedicated to providing a platform to introduce children, ages 8 to 14, to the game of golf while fostering key life-enhancing values through the sport, will host its 22nd Anniversary Charity Golf Tournament on Saturday, April 4, 2020 at the Orangebrook Golf and Country Club in Hollywood, Florida. 

“We are anticipating a nearly sold out event this year,” said Janet Moller, outgoing President of the Board of Directors of the organization.  Moller continued with, “It’s going to be a great year and we’re excited to put on our annual tournament to support the kids in the greater Hollywood area.  Our hope is to continue to partner with businesses in the local community to make this year another successful event.” 

The organization welcomes any and all businesses and organizations to participate and sponsor the event.  Sponsorship packages offer businesses, clubs, and individuals the opportunity to gain exposure as supporters of Hollywood’s Diamonds in the Rough.  A range of sponsorship opportunities have been created, catering to all budgets and commitment levels.  Packages range from $125 to $5,000; allowing all interested parties the opportunity to partner with the Diamonds’ in this important event 

The tournament will kick off with registration at 7 am and a shotgun start at 8 am. The format is a 4-player Scramble. There will be prizes for Hole-In-One, Longest Drive and Closest-To-The-Pin contests, in addition to prizes for the winning teams. A Live Auction will take place along with raffles for gift baskets and door prizes. A light breakfast and a lunch will be served.
