The community came out to recently to enjoy the growing Artisan Market that takes place during Downtown Hollywood’s monthly ArtWalk. Those who came could enjoy live entertainment, vendors offering a wide range of arts, crafts, jewelry, clothing and other items and the chance to spend time with family and friends.
The Artisan Market is offered on the third Saturday evening of every month on 20th Ave. between Harrison and Tyler Streets from 5-10 p.m.
Students from the Avant Garde Academy, the Singing Sharks music program gave musical performance. Adrian Jones, of the school’s music program said they are talented group of third, fourth and fifth grade students.
The atmosphere was very pleasant and many people enjoyed talking with and buying from the vendors. People could also take a tour of murals in the downtown area and enjoy dinner in one of the nearby restaurants.
The next Artisan Market will take place Saturday, March 18.
