Broward Schools Announces Graduation Dates and Times for High Schools

Broward Graduation ceremonies will be held in a virtual environment

Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) has announced the dates and times for the Class of 2020 virtual graduation ceremonies which will take place from June 15 – 28.

Each graduation ceremony will broadcast live on BECON-TV and stream live via YouTube so family and friends, local and across the country, will be able to join in celebrating this milestone achievement of their seniors.

McArthur High School’s ceremony will take place on Wednesday, June 24 at 4 p.m.

Hollywood Hills High School’s ceremony will take place on Saturday, June 20 at 4:p.m.

South Broward High School’s ceremony will take place on June 28 at 7:00 p.m.

All ceremonies will provide the traditional pomp and circumstance, including speeches by student representatives, School Board members, District and school administrators, roll call of graduates and other school graduation traditions. Broward Schools Superintendent Robert Runcie has said he is proud of the work that the Class of 2020 has done through online remote learning.
