Even though Broward students are learning from home, they can still celebrate Earth Day.

Broward County Public Schools, through the Department of Applied Learning, has created activities for students and families to mark each day leading up to Earth Day on Wednesday, April 22.

These activities include scavenger hunts, turning recycled materials into artwork to determine the size of a person’s carbon footprint. Students can upload photos of their Earth Day activities to highlight the importance of protecting the Earth and being good stewards of the environment.

You can celebrate by downloading the Count Down to Earth Day calendar, available here, to complete each day’s activities.
