C.B. Smith Park COVID-19 Drive-Through Test Collection Site Temporarily Stops Operations Due to Threat of Tropical Storm

C.B. Smith Park COVID-19 Testing Site Extends Criteria to Symptomatic South Florida Residents 18 Years and Older

As the National Weather Service tracks the path of a potential tropical storm that threatens South Florida, state officials from the Department of Emergency Management will temporarily stop testing operations at the C.B. Smith Park COVID-19 Drive-Through Test Collection site.

To ensure overall safety at the site, testing will cease from Friday, July 31, through Tuesday, August 4. State officials are expected to resume operations on Wednesday, August 5, following an assessment of any storm-related damage at the park. 

Community members scheduled for tests during this time may call the appointment line at 954-276-4680 to reschedule.
