Chaminade-Madonna golfer Valeria Pacheco-Claudio finished third place in the Class IA state high school golf tournament,  played on November 6th and 7th at the Mission Inn Resort and Club in the Orlando area.

“I love golf,” said Pacheco-Claudio, who added that she also loves being a student at Chaminade-Madonna High School.  “It takes a lot of dedication to be a successful golfer.”

In the competition, she shot a 69 and a 70.  Pacheco-Claudio will play on the Texas Christian Golf Team next year.
