City Charter Review Committee To Present Its Findings at April 11 Meeting

Joint City Commission Workshop with Charter Review Committee Set for April 11 at 11:45 am

The Charter Review Committee, a volunteer layman’s committee, has been working diligently for months, going over every detail of the City’s Charter line by line, studying and reviewing all aspects of the city’s governmental structure. The committee is scheduled to submit proposals to amend or revise the Charter to the City Commission on Wednesday, April 11th from 11:45 am to 1:30 pm.

The City Commission is then required to place the Charter Review Committee’s proposals on the ballot at the next presidential or gubernatorial election, whichever occurs first.

The meeting will be held at Hollywood City Hall, Room 215.  The meeting is open to the public.
