“Commission in the Community” Open Forum Set for Jan. 24

In a bid to engage with the local community, the Hollywood City Council is extending an invitation to all Hollywood inhabitants to a public discussion to ask inquiries and express recommendations or worries. This session of the “Council in the Community” public discussion is programmed for Wednesday, January 24 at 6 pm at the Washington Park Community Center, 5199 Pembroke Road in Hollywood.

Individuals eager to talk will be requested to complete a speaker’s card and submit it by 7 pm. The gathering will commence with an introduction from Mayor Josh Levy succeeded by a public discussion managed by District 6 Commissioner Linda Sherwood.

The night is set to kick off at 6 pm with a 30 minutes laid-back get-together with the Mayor and Council Members, succeeded by the public discussion, which is planned to carry on until 8 pm.
