Members of the Hollywood Community got together at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center to enjoy the Martin Luther King Fun Day Sat., Jan. 19. There were bounce houses, a DJ and barbecue hotdogs and hamburgers. People could also receive free hair cuts and massages.
A fresh food distribution provided local families with fresh fruits and vegetables.

“This is a chance for members of the community to get together and have a fun time together,” said Sandra White, director of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Center.
Members of the Delta Sigma Theta South Broward Alumni Chapter participated. They were distributing bags of hurricane supplies. “We want to help out in the community,” said Robin Boclair, a member of the chapter.
