Volunteer Shifts Open to Assist in Making Family Meal Boxes to Distribute this Week

Feeding South Florida is in need of volunteers to help pack family meal boxes, complete with peanut butter/jelly, rice, beans, oatmeal, and more. Space is limited, up to 40 people.

In addition, Feeding South Florida has activated special Monday, March 16 volunteer shifts at both warehouses in Boynton Beach and Pembroke Park at 8:30 a.m. and another at 1:30 p.m. To participate, please visit volunteer.feedingsouthflorida.org to register.

Feeding South Florida serves Palm Beach County’s 189,000 food insecure individuals from its Palm Beach County headquarters, Feeding Palm Beach County (FPBC), located in Boynton Beach.

Every day, over 700,000 food insecure individuals throughout Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties question from where they will get their next meal. 

Feeding South Florida is a member of the Feeding America network of food banks and the leading domestic hunger-relief organization serving Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade, and Monroe Counties. Feeding South Florida distributed nearly 62 million pounds (51.6 million meals) of food last year, to over 700,000 individuals through direct-service programs and a local network of approximately 300 nonprofit partner agencies.
