Four Leadership Hollywood Projects’ Planning Continues and Adjusts Through Pandemic

Leadership Hollywood Gears Up for 2020 Projects — Despite Delays

Leadership Hollywood, a leadership training program that gives participants a behind-the-scenes understanding of Hollywood’s inner workings, was in full swing when the coronavirus pandemic began to impact Broward.

Despite that, the Greater Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has announced its intention that Leadership Hollywood Class 44 fully complete its program and projects, and celebrate its accomplishments, with a complete graduation as soon as possible.

“This catastrophe may have slowed us down a bit, but that will not stop us from our achieving our main goal in supporting the business community by developing the next strong group of business leaders, and maintaining a commitment to community service,” said Jonathan Jacobskind, Director of Programs & Events, in a letter to the class.   “I can assure you we will be back stronger than ever once this all passes over.”

Many of the participants have been using their down time to plan and work on their Community Service projects, which will also hopefully be back on track soon.

Here’s a wrap-up of the projects’ plans up till now.

All have been curated by the program’s committee to positively impact the growing and changing City of Hollywood and its residents, and all are intended to become Legacy projects, designed to continue beyond the current class.
