The Hollywood CRA is looking for volunteers to join in the monthly marine-turtle lighting audits. Volunteers would simply walk on the beach and look for lights.
If they see bright lights, the code officer John Weitzner will notify the home/business owner or condo association.
The CRA marine consultant will also be on location to offer lighting recommendations. The beach has been divided into 4 sections which will be audited one section each month until March 2015 when the ordinance goes into effect.
