Hollywood Broadwalk Now Open With No Time Restrictions; Beach Remains Closed

Hollywood Begins Limited Re-Opening of Broadwalk and Parks on Weds., May 13

The Hollywood Broadwalk is now open for exercise only including walking, jogging and bicycle riding and there are no time restrictions.

The bicycle riding will be prohibited from Harrison Street to Carolina Street when the Temporary Café Zone is in use from Thursday 2 p.m. through Monday 5 a.m.

Starting on Monday, May 18, the Broadwalk will be open to access and visit restaurants and retailers.

There will be no rollerblading, skating or skateboarding. Also, there will be no loitering which means people on the Broadwalk must be in motion, not standing still for longer periods of time.

Social distancing is required and there must be at least six feet of distance between individuals. There can be no groups larger than ten people.

Facial coverings must be worn when at least six feet social distancing cannot be maintained when patronizing retail businesses.

The beach remains closed.
