The Hollywood Commission approved a number of major purchases during a recent meeting.
It agreed to a blanket purchase order to Enterprise FM Trust for the lease of vehicles to serve the code compliance division for a 14-month term for an estimated amount of $139,448.
It agreed to a resolution to allow city leaders to issue a purchase order with Andritz Separation in the amount of $370,336 for a belt filter press rolls rehabilitation project at the Southern Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant.
It also agreed to allow city leaders to execute the utility work by highway contractor agreement with the Florida Department of Transportation in the lump sum amount of $39,984 for the adjustment of utility sewer manholes, a water meter box, water valves and the relocation of fire hydrants along 56th Avenue from Pembroke Road to Stirling Road.
