The Hollywood Commission issued a proclamation in recognition of the 5th National Gun Violence Awareness Day on June 7, 2019. Members from Moms Demand Action received the proclamation. Their goal is to raise awareness on gun violence in society. The members wore orange shirts in honor of the movement.
