The Hollywood Commission agreed to some major purchases during the January 17 meeting. It passed a resolution allowing city leaders to execute a contract between Ric-Man Construction Florida, Inc. and the City for construction services related to the water main replacement program from Moffett Street to Hollywood Boulevard between South Federal Highway to the Intracoastal Waterway. The contract is for $20,563,144.
The work includes 137,765 linear feet of various water mains, 169 fire hydrants, 2,555 water services, pavement restoration and pavement markings and stripping.
The project includes a work order between Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc and the City for additional services on the project in the amount of $59,881.
The Commission also passed a resolution for a contract between TLC Diversified, Inc. and the City for construction services related to Clarifier Number 5 and 6 Rehabilitation located at the Southern Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant in the amount of $1,651,010. The project also includes a work order between Hazen and Sawyer, P.C. and the City for construction administrative services in an amount not to exceed $98,733.
