Hollywood People Profile (1st Installment)

Rebecca
Williams has lived in South Florida for thirty-years. Three years ago she moved
to Hollywood. I wanted to know why?

“I’ve
watched Hollywood rise from the ashes—right before my eyes,” Rebecca responded.

“Let’s
put it this way, when I was much younger and living in Fort Lauderdale; when we
wanted to party in Miami we’d pass through Hollywood without looking left or
right—straight on through—no reason to slow down, no reason to stop.”

What’s
changed, I wanted to know and Rebecca pounced…

“I
moved to Hollywood because of its positive growth and enthusiasm—I adore the
activities, the art, the Downtown District–the beach and Broadwalk.

“Further,
I work in the Food and Beverage Industry and I can tell you there is an
increase in quality restaurants. We’re selling much more trend menu items to
businesses meaning these new restaurants are staying competitive with the in-spots
from Las Olas to Miami and beyond.

“As
a matter of fact, I was recently speaking with a renowned Chef in Miami Beach
and he was quick to point out that Hollywood was beginning to make its mark—garnering
notices.”

And
Rebecca knows something about Restaurants, she co-owns Outback Jack’s
Australian Beach Bar & Grill in Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica.

“If
anyone shows up at Outback Jack’s and mentions Hollywood, Florida they’ll get a
free-shot—on the house—Hollywood rocks!”
