Hollywood police investigate two armed robberies committed by one suspect

Hollywood Police are looking for help in solving two recent armed robbery cases.

On June 5, 2016 at approximately 6:56 P.M. an armed robbery occurred at the Marathon Gas Station, located at 3034 Johnson Street.

The suspect was a white male with white facial hair, 5’8-10″ tall, 200 pounds. He was wearing a white baseball hat, white tee shirt and shorts with black boots and was armed with knife. The Marathon clerk was held at knife point while she handed him a money bag containing approximately $200. The suspect fled west bound in a grey Toyota or Lincoln.

A second armed robbery occurred on June 6, 2016 at approximately 5:26 P.M. This robbery occured at a Quick Stop Store located at 2344 North Dixie Highway, and appears to involve the same suspect. The subject description was similar to the first armed robbery. The white male wore a white baseball hat, lime green tee shirt and was armed with a knife. The clerk was forced back and also held at knife point. He took approximately $200 from the register then fled the scene. It is unknown if a vehicle was used in this robbery.
