Hollywood's Shredding Event and Donation of Used Clothing Collection

The City of Hollywood, Office of the City Clerk, Records and Archives is hosting its shredding day on Saturday, September 26, 2015 on the north side of Boulevard Heights Community Center from 8:00 AM to 12 noon or until the trucks have reached capacity, whichever occurs first.

Please note this shredding will be a drive-up event and entrance to Boulevard Heights Community Center parking lot (6770 Garfield Street) will be strictly enforced.
 
Employees will be available to assist with unloading your papers.  Residents must provide proof of Hollywood residency (driver’s license, utility bill, tax bill, etc.) 

There is a limit of 3 boxes of paper records per household.  Only paper will be accepted – CDs, DVDs, heavy binder clips, plastic binders, X-rays and such are prohibited.  As always, staples and paperclips can be shredded.

Please keep in mind that only personally identifiable records/papers will be accepted: trash, garbage, routine household recycling (newspapers, magazines, etc.) cannot be accommodated.

In addition, the Salvation Army of Broward County will be collecting clothing, shoes and other items such as linens, small household items and small kitchen items.  NO furniture, mattresses or other large items will be allowed.
