Hollywood ymca opens doors to community after irma; sets up day camp for kids out of school

Clean-up is nearly complete and the Hollywood YMCA opens tomorrow morning, Thursday, September 14 from 8 a.m. – 7 p.m. and throughout the weekend.

Everyone is welcome, regardless of membership status.

They have showers and A/C plus they are offering a special day camp for kids Thursday and Friday. See flyer below for details. “For families in need of care we have a financial assistance program to help reduce the cost,” added Matt Libby,  Executive Director at YMCA of South Florida.

Pools probably won’t be up and going until Friday as the chemicals are stabilizing. For more information, call the YMCA at (954) 989-9622.
