Gabriela Milner has embraced the art of converting her collages onto canvas—from paper to paint—with beguiling results. Gabriela is a member of the L/Mercado Studio Collective (2000 Harrison St. Hollywood). She has lived in Hollywood for 15 years and while she has no “formal” training in the “arts” her pedigree as a graphic designer is much ballyhooed.
Gabriela considers fellow collective member Carlos Alvarez Cotera her mentor. That both artists have serious surrealist leanings make for a most serendipitous relationship. Gabriela is also a master of face and body painting and designing/applying henna tattoos.
