UPDATE: Bars and Nightclubs Close; Hollywood Restaurants to Close at 10 p.m. and Limit Occupancy

Gov. Ron DeSantis declares a State of Emergency in response to Coronavirus

Ordering takeout or delivery is the responsible alternative to dining in a restaurant

According to CDC Guidance, large events and mass gatherings can contribute to the spread of COVID-19 in the United States. Therefore, CDC recommends that in-person events that consist of 50 people or more throughout the United States be postponed or cancelled.

In light of this guidance, the City of Hollywood is announcing effective Tuesday, March 17th at 10:00 p.m., and until further notice, all restaurants City-wide must close for business daily at or before 10:00 p.m. and remain closed until at least 6:00 a.m. the following day.

All restaurants must reduce their occupancy by 50% and limit the number of people in their establishments to no more than 50 during all hours of operation. Please see additional measures implemented to help control the spread of COVID-19 in our community.
