Strong South Broward Bulldogs prep for upcoming season

The South Broward High School Bulldogs football team has a a group of talented and dedicated players returning this fall.

Terrance Smith will lead the offense as quarterback. Wayne Parrish is one of the top players on the team and plays wide receiver and tight end. Parrish is being recruited by the University of Central Florida, Florida State University and Florida International University.

Devon Strickland is also a top player at defensive end. He is being recruited by Wake Forest and the University of Akron. Jeremiah Coleman and Allen Crawford will play leading roles as running back.

The South Broward High School football team gets ready to take the field.

Keith Franklin is the team’s new head coach. He has previously coached at high school’s McArthur and Dillard and is looking forward to leading this year’s Bulldogs. “We can have a winning team this year. The players have  a good attitude and we have talented players,” he said.

The Bulldogs will face tough competition with Nova, Hollywood Hills, West Broward and Cooper City. The team also will play a strong Lakeland team.
