Hollywood
has added a healthy, yet delectably sweet, addition to its ever growing palate
of dining purveyors.
The
Little Sugars recently opened its doors at 2028 Harrison Street. This one part
bakery/one part health conscious kitchen serves up both breakfast and lunch
(8am-3pm Mon-Fri / 10am-2pm Saturday).
The
owner, Sarah Price, while new to Hollywood, is a Florida native, who spent the
last ten-years in Miami.
Sarah
comes from a long-line of bakers and her family’s business (Diamond D Farms,
located in the Florida Panhandle) provide all the organic fruits and some of
the vegetables you’ll find in this scrumptious little sugar shack.
All
the recipes come from the matriarchal side of the Price family. Sarah is the fourth
generation of savory servers and the restaurant is a tribute to her Great
Grandmother Nettie!
Sarah
started in the business as a caterer (and she still provides this fabulous
service) but her brick-and-mortar dreams have been realized right here in Hollywood.
