New Hollywood Church to Host Free Thanksgiving Dinner for Community

Hope Church of Christ (HCOC), a religious organization, is hosting its second annual Hope for Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday, November 23, 2017 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at 1800 N. State Road 7, Hollywood, Fla. 33021.

HCOC is offering its residents and the surrounding communities a hot holiday meal, at no cost. The church’s mission is to serve and fulfill the needs of the people of South Broward and abroad. Kitchen 5000, a HCOC community engagement ministry, will cater the community thanksgiving meal. The organization desires to serve upwards of 300 guests. Attendees will be escorted to tables and served to partake in an intimate dinner on the church’s grounds.

The Senior Minister, Alvin L. Daniels, Jr., says, “We are ecstatic about this event. This is our second year hosting this joyous celebration, and our Kitchen 5000 Ministry is preparing for a wonderful day of Thanksgiving honoring our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.”

HCOC, established four years ago, is new to the city of Hollywood. The Senior Minister, Alvin L. Daniels Jr., and the congregation seek to extend benevolence beyond the church building into the local areas. The organization’s promotion and execution of community engagement initiatives supplies core demands to the under-served, employing the Spirit of God. The assembly strives to exceed meeting the needs of the families in its proximity.

HCOC is located at 1800 North State Road 7 in Hollywood, Florida.
