It’s all systems go for Operation Paintbrush, the popular city’s program that provides free paint to Hollywood homeowners starting this year on Saturday, January 13 at a new location.
Up to 20 gallons of free, high-quality recycled exterior latex paint is stocked and available for single-family Hollywood homeowners at the City of Hollywood Public Works Compound (1600 South Park Rd, 33021) from 8 a.m. til noon. Paint will also be available on the second Saturday in April, July and October from 8 a.m. until noon.
To participate, residents must provide their driver’s license and a current utility bill as proof of residency in the City of Hollywood. The paint colors offered are off white, beige, terracotta, gray, and turquoise. Call 954-967-4526 for more information.
Please Note: This is not a paint drop off site. Residents must dispose of old paint at the Broward County Household Hazardous Waste Residential Drop Off facility located at 5601 W. Hallandale Beach Boulevard on Saturdays only from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
