The Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) “School Choice” application window for the 2018/19 school year is now open through February 7, 2018.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to explore all of the District’s School Choice options available for their families. If you are interested in a program not available at your assigned school or if you would like your child to attend a school other than your assigned school, you may submit up to three applications for your child – a magnet program application, Nova Schools application and a reassignment application*.
School-aged children living within Broward County are assigned to a school based on their primary residential address and grade level. This is the child’s assigned school. To find your child’s assigned school, please visit the School Locator.

*If you are interested in an Innovative Program or Career Technical Pathway (CTP) program not at your child’s assigned school or the Millennium 6-12 Collegiate Academy, you may apply for entry to that school through a School Choice reassignment application.
