Something for everyone at Christmas Near the Beach.

People came together at the Arts Park at Young Circle to enjoy Christmas Near the Beach.

During the evening, there were musical and drama performances for people to enjoy. All had a Christmas theme. There were food vendors and fun activities for children. And there was a classic car show. It was a fun and festive atmosphere. Thousands of people enjoyed the event.

Margaret Pashkin of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce said, “This is a nice event. It is a family celebration,” she said.

Cecilia Meijer, director of admissions for City College, said she enjoyed the event.

Gerson Melgar brought his children Sarai and Elijah. “This is a very nice experience,” he said. His children received balloons from Elsa Hanley.

Amber Hahn brought her daughter Ariel. “We like coming to Young Circle and this is a lot of fun,” said Amber.

Virginia Houmes brought her daughters Sofia and Lola. “We are having fun. We saw some of our friends here. The weather was great tonight,” said Houmes.

There were food vendors offering a wide variety of treats. Zoey Puente and John Puente, a husband and wife team offered chocolate covered items. They enjoyed being a part of the event.

Joe Redfern participated in the classic car show. He brought his 1955 Ford pickup truck. He has restored the truck and enjoys working on it. Colleen Malanczyn brought her 1964 Pontiac. She was handing out toys to children who stopped by.
