The Art and Culture Center/Hollywood invites you to the eleventh anniversary of the popular Hollywood fundraiser Glam Goes Surreal. The annual bash takes place on Saturday, February 2, 2019 from 7 to 10 pm at the Center’s gallery on1650 Harrison Street, in Hollywood.
Join Art and Culture Center/Hollywood for exquisite food catered by Artisan Foods and desserts by Mimi’s Ravioli. Enjoy open bar, music, dancing and entertainment featuring Kikimora Studio Performers and VK Dance. Bid on exciting auction items such as hotel stays, fine dining, attractions and more. Explore a world of the offbeat and the fantastic at this year’s Glam Goes Surreal fundraiser. Attendees will also get a sneak preview of Exposed Exhibition and Fundraiser, with up to 100 artworks, plus contemporary exhibitions Hidden Color by Christian Feneck, and If Can’t See You From Here by Ingrid Schindall and Sammi McLean, along with features by Christopher Byrd and Gamaliel Herrera.
This year’s honoree is Charles “Chip” Abele, Jr., Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Gold Coast Florida Regional Center, LLC and Managing Director of Hollywood Circle, LLC. Abele is a leading figure in the South Florida real-estate industry with a proven track record of executing large-scale projects in Downtown Hollywood and throughout the region. He currently serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Office of Gold Coast Florida Regional Center, LLC (GCFRC) and Managing Director of Hollywood Circle, LLC.
Tickets to the event are $130 per person or $150 per person including an after-party at The Muse Rooftop Bar & Lounge at CIRC Hotel. Tickets include complimentary valet parking.
