City Seeks Community Input for Affordable Housing Needs for Fiscal Year 2018/2019

Hollywood welcome sign

On Wednesday, January 10, at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall, room 219, the The City of Hollywood will conduct a public hearing — a Citizens’ Needs Assessment — before the Community Development Advisory Board (CDAB) to develop a One Year Action Plan for Fiscal Year 2018-2019.

The purpose of the public hearing is to receive comments regarding housing and community development priority needs and specific objectives to be addressed with federal funds during Fiscal Year 2018-2019.

The City encourages citizen participation, especially by people of low or moderate income households, and residents of predominantly low to moderate income neighborhoods.

Staff will be on hand to provide an overview of the funding sources and eligible uses of funds at the meeting. For additional information please call Donna Biederman at 954.921.3271.

Plan to be there to make your voice heard so that Hollywood can get the maximum possible federal funding.
